Cactus Theater
Description
The historic Cactus Theater (circa 1938) is a recognized Lubbock landmark – presenting live music performances by local, regional and national touring acts; occasional film screenings and other special events on its legendary stage. Seating roughly 400, the Cactus features in-house state-of-the-art sound and lighting packages, concessions and in-house ticketing. Tastefully updated throughout, this vintage theater – which originally was the first “suburban movie house” in the city, is the only one of its type remaining in Lubbock. Varied entertainment is offered throughout the year – primarily scheduled Thursdays-Saturday and occasionally on Sunday. Most bookings and programming is done in-house with occasional rentals.
