Some amazing new signs are up to remember Buddy Ho

Some amazing new signs are up to remember Buddy Holly and some of the special Lubbock places which shaped him into the man and musician he was. Keep an eye out at these Lubbock spots - they are part of history. Included in this collection of pics are the signs at Roscoe Wilson Elementary, Hutchinson Middle School and Lubbock High School. Check out the QR codes on each sign for the story map and visit them all. Big thanks to @visitlubbock and @cityoflubbock for championing this important project.

Don't miss this Lubbock Chamber Orchestra performance of "Unfinished Business"

Franz Schubert began writing his eighth symphony in 1822 but completed only two movements and part of a scherzo before moving on to other works in the final years of his life. Though unfinished, this symphony is celebrated as one of the earliest masterpieces of musical Romanticism, distinguished by its expressive lyricism and rich instrumental texture. Unfinished Business complements Schubert’s incomplete work with other outstanding melodic pieces, placing a special emphasis on the clarinet.
