Carol C. Howell

Originally from Spokane, Washington, Carol has made Texas her home for over 30 years. She tackled various media throughout her education, culminating with an Master in Fine Arts in Design from the University of Washington in 1975. She is a dedicated painter; her goal is to complete a painting a week.

She is also a contributor to the encouragement of the arts and artists in the Lubbock community.

She received the Lubbock Art Alliance 2006 Helping Hand ACE Award and the LHUCA 2009 William D. Kerns Award for her work on Local Color Studio Tour. Her work has been seen nationally and regionally and has received numerous awards. Her collectors are national and international.
