Musician & Venue Survey

In August of 2020, Lubbock was certified as a Music Friendly Community by the Texas Music Office. Lubbock’s advisory board saw this certification as much more than a new logo to promote, but an opportunity to make an already revered music industry even better through professional develop workshops, networking events and marketing opportunities to promote more fully what Lubbock music is and the musicians and venues who make it happen. In collaboration with the Texas Tech University School of Music, this survey is our attempt to continue that growth in an upward direction by taking the pulse of our industry – both musicians and the venues who open their spaces to them.
