Getting the Gig and Showcase 2023

The Getting the Gig Showcase is an event to introduce new and emerging musicians to the Lubbock music community in a safe and fun way. It is not a contest it is an opportunity to perform and share your gifts with audience members who may not have seen you perform. The panel will select 6 performers for the 2023 showcase. Therefore, when you submit your performance video, be sure it is engaging (we want people who can offer a GREAT live performance experience), be sure it is good quality (are the sound and lighting elements in the video well done?), and be sure it represents your style and the genre of music you will bring and perform to the showcase. We welcome all genres. Solo or duo acts only please due to the time limits of the showcase.
