Noah Luna
BIO
Noah Luna was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and attends Frenship High School and Angelo State University and will be graduating in 2024. He is currently considering several universities to further his education and gain a degree in music performance. He began playing at the age of 4 years old. While he is multi-instrumental, his first and preferred instruments are drum set, percussion and mallet keyboards. Currently Noah is an accompanying drum set player for many artists in the Lubbock area and is actively gigging in and around the area. He has been involved with several musical projects such as Highway 84, All About Alice band and Sal & the Stonewall Hippies.

RECOGNITIONS
Noah has many accomplishments under his belt as a percussionist. Most recently from South Plains College where he won the annual Groove Contest. Noah gained recognition and landed in the top 2% as a percussionist and as a jazz drum set performer within the state of Texas. In 2022 he played drum set in the Battle of the Bands in Curry County alongside an up-and-coming local band and won first place. Noah has performed in various musical settings such as orchestral, band, jazz, pit orchestra and even choirs. He had the honor of accompanying the Frenship High School Mixed Varsity choir at their 2021 and 2022 TMEA performances where he played Djembe in their musical selections. Noah was also honored with the invitation to accompany the Carmesi Quartet-silver medalists in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association.
As a seasoned musician Noah has had the privilege of learning alongside numerous talented and well-known music connoisseurs in our area, including many professors, instructors, and students from Texas Tech University School of Music, Lubbock Christian University, and South Plains College. Noah has also recorded in a variety of awards winning studios such as Amusement Park Studios and many others. He has been fortunate to have his drum tracks placed on many musical platforms.
Not only has he performed on the state level, but Noah has performed on local stages within some of the most iconic venues such as The Blue Light, The Buddy Holly Hall, The Legendary Coyote Store in Gail, Texas, The Garden in Lubbock, Texas, The Lila Cockerel Theatre in San Antonio, Texas and many others. He has also supported with his musical talents, various local organizations in support of differing causes like cancer awareness, suicide prevention, drunk driving prevention etc. He is more than happy to lend the “down-beat” for events within his city and the surrounding areas.
Noah is a well-rounded musician; his favorite genres of music include a variety of flavors. With country leading his list, a swift turn of the dial, he lands on rock, blues, jazz, R&B, and funk. Noah is constantly perfecting his skill by staying active within the music scene, performing, and learning from other talented musicians.
