Lubbock Creative Kickstarter Fund
The Lubbock Creative Kickstarter Fund is a program established by the Lubbock Cultural Arts Foundation.
Established through a gift challenge by Local LBK which will match the first $5,000 raised, the fund will support emerging artists, musicians and filmmakers.
The partnership between Local LBK and LCAF combines the social reach of Local LBK with LCAF’s established network, helping strengthen Lubbock’s identity as a hub for artists while giving the community opportunities to support the local economy.
The Lubbock Creative Kickstarter Fund will support all sectors of the arts in Lubbock including visual artists, musicians, writers, performers and filmmakers. By backing local creatives, the fund will strengthen community bonds and reinforces Lubbock’s identity
as a city deeply rooted in the arts. Local LBK and LCAF are uniquely positioned to elevate Lubbock’s arts community through this innovative fund.
