The ever-popular Musician Showcase for fresh faces, emerging musicians/songwriters and those who are seeking a stage. For information on participating in the showcase please reach out to Stacy at the Lubbock Cultural Arts Foundation office for details on how to apply or complete the form.
Educational topics will include:
Results of the West Texas Musician Survey on distribution with Cary C. Banks.
Improvising and how it’s done in order to expand a musician’s ability to play and perform with others more easily. Get expert advice and how to build a collaboration with Jonny “Keys” Hughes, Scott Dawson and Tristan Nock. Volunteers will get to improvise with this pro backline and they will talk through what goes on behind the scenes to make a successful experience. This will be a fun interactive element and an essential skill while building a career in music.
Dinner is included in the evening.

New this year!! There will be a $100 stipend to each musician who performs in the showcase.

Showcase entries will be curated by an anonymous panel of Lubbock industry pros. If selected, you will be notified by October 3rd to talk about your sound requirements and needs prior to the performance.
